Inspired during my travels in Maui, Hawaii, the "painted tree" is a rare eucalyptus variety whose bark looks as if it had been painted in a myriad of colors. I love trees and this one is a favorite tree of mine. The original painting has a sculptural influence with a 3.5" deep frame, three dimensional heavy texture extending and wrapping over an area on the top right and on the bottom as it trails its way down. Crystals are embedded in the painting along with pieces of natural green reed. The original is for sale.
